Club Kits

New Scotland supporter's kit is... probably the best I've seen for any team since the sport turned professional!

ive often wondered why more sponsers dont opt for doing that, blending in, even manufacterers....i feel the coverage they would get (actual close ups in the press) could outweigh the passive of being visable during a game

2026 super rugby kits have dropped, 30th anniversary of the comp and some teams are commemorating with heritage jerseys

"Let's do the past again! Nostalgia!" I'm generally not a fan. In this case too because in 1996 I was an 8-year-old boy in Western Australia who would've had no idea what Super Rugby Super 12 was.

i think so many people have got behind the heritage jersey idea because we had so many years of pretty generic adidas jerseys (and little to no supporters gear), and the super franchises have leaned so heavily towards block colours for their jerseys...there was often nothing to see, we dont have stripes or quarters or the like as standard super rugby design....and i think lots of people like rugby jerseys looks like rugby jerseys

I'm a fan of that secondary hurricane jersey, but the main one is vomit-inducing. Retro Landers always look cool. The Saders is ok i guess, Blues is fkn ugly. & the Chiefs sensibly didn't go to retro, as their old jerseys were dull to say the least

not sure id consider any of they early chief jerseys dull

Was meaning the main Hurricanes jersey. I like the second one

Hmm dull may not be the right word, but boy do they look like something designed in the 80s lol. That last one is ok i guess

that one? fair enough, my understanding is its the second most sold after the Highlanders jersey

These two are lovely, though, as ever, the advertising has done its best to ruin it
you think, my expectations might have just lowered but i didn;t that those were that bad for sponsors, no "box" for the sponsor, no crazy or out of theme colour and only one major on on the front, dont even seem to have shoulder or collar ones which seems the norm now days

anyway, ive struggled with jerseys for a few years now, partly they often had a cut that didn;t flatter someone that wasnt a professional rugby players...but also just didn;t wear them...so ive gone for this which i think is a very tidy option

Classic are coming right, have heard some stories that there werent many takers fore the super franchises when adidas stepped away and classic came to the party late, and thats why their first couple of iterations were pretty plain, basicly off the shelf stuff with minor personalisation and now theyve had a full design cycle to ramp up
