After doing well to get a first innings lead, another pathetic collapse from 110-3 to 145 all out. I know it's India away, which is always difficult, but once again not good enough.

I've not seen the highlight but we're they genuinely bad wickets because from I've seen heard the pitch has quite a few demons in it.

Hat trick for Atkinson v NZ. They don't come around often.

Is there a more frustrating batsman than Crawley? Clouts 2 lovely 4s from the first 2 balls of the innings, then in the next over falls to his first ball from Henry who's totally got his number. 8 is literally his average v NZ. Not good enough.

Crawley drives me nuts as well lads clearly got the talent to be top class opener. Defends well, attacks beautifully. Then does something completely brain dead and gets out.

Currently 21 from 8 which is nuts in a test. Let's see how long he lasts…..

England cricket going spectacularly badly for both men and women.

Afghanistan have just racked up 325 in a 50 over match against us. Between innings. Presumably a featherbed pitch, but lose this and the headlines will be lively…..

For me - it's silly that they had go through with the farce, rather than just declaring.
They did it in order to get on with the game whilst the weather allowed.

Had they done it to manipulate the Duckworth-Lewis, then that'd be a different matter entirely.

Seems a bit daft… you can't declare, but you can do this other thing which has basically the same effect, but is a bit more of a faff.

I've just had a read and it's apparently not allowed to prevent teams manipulating net run rate.

I find run rate and duck worth lewis linked to number of batters ridiculous. Just change it to whoever has scored more runs at the end of each over. If you know rain is a possibility then it forces you to be attacking so as not to risk the run rate dropping low.
