Average attendance 12,966 across the league in 2008, though the figures could be inflated by larger crowds for some teams, not looking at Melbourne at all Still trying to find some 2009 figures, unfort soccer doesn't have a Daily Mungograph to inflate the numbers.

well i turned on the tv today and they were playing aussie football on tsn over here, was nice to see maybe they will play some rugby soon doubt it though

Adelaide United 3 - 3 North Queensland Fury

For Dale's benefit there was a 10,773 crowd figure down in Hindmarsh, insert your own secret women's business joke here, which is going to be more than a club rugby match gets in Sydney today and more than a few of the NRL games. The Fury can consider themselves unlucky in this one as United got a late penalty due to a Ref's call. Great game keeping locals happy with things.

Perth Glory 2 - 1 Melbourne Victory

Perth made it two wins in a row with a fine win over the Victory in front of 8,057 faithful. The Glory had to withstand a second half comeback bid by the Victory but in the wash-up deserved their win.
