Does this site give out viruses

Q

My dad is accusing this site of giving out viruses, which are slowing down the computer. Any any administrator or member say otherwise?

Well, some comments are pretty virus-ish... But no. Viruses can only hit your computer if you have downloaded something, or clicked on a dodgy link. None of those are around on here.

Tell your dad he is absolutely incorrect. You can't get viruses from a website per se, and certainly not one that has the protection TRF has. Even the Rugby 08 patches are virus free.

Your dad is talking ********. The only thing this site will put on your computer is a tracking cookie if you select "remember me" when you log in. Yes, virus scanners will pick them up as potential threats, but no, they're not. Your computer will have approximately 50-odd of them, all doing their job properly and making your life easier.

I think your dad just doesn't like you looking at this side. When I was a kid my step-day once gave me similar scfpeal that the game "Worms" installs a virus on your PC, just because he didn't want me installing it on there.

No it's not TRF that's putting the viruses on your PC, it's all the porn. Just be upfront with your dad and say "Listen, I occasionally like to download videos of Girls with big breasts having three ways dressed as nuns. This is where the viruses have come from. I am sorry, but i CANNOT commit to saying that it won't happen again at the moment. I've got a good thing going."
:D
So, maybe don't listen to my advice.

Link or it didnt happen :)

I believe you need 2000 posts before you get a virus... or was that a status upgrade ... sorry forget which.

The folks at the Invision site, writers of the software, spend a lot of time making sure you wont pick up any malware from sites using their software :)
