Given the history between these 2 sides there should be quite a decent game in prospect this weekend.

Byron Kelleher seems to be settling in nicely but he'll be rested for this weekend's clash so Toulouse look likely to go with Ellisalde at scrum-half for this opener.

Paterson's departure for Gloucester makes me think that winning against Edinburgh at Murrayfield will be a lot easier this season than it has been but whether that actually happens is the interesting question.

Well Toulouse won by 4 but they were extremely fortunate, if Edinburgh still had Paterson they would have won their was just a big gulf in the class of the kickers even although the Gunners played the better rugby.

I was really impressed by Edinburgh! They improved their game by far. They were very agressive in defense and when they began to play in the second half, it was fast game and Toulouse was a bit lost!

Sad that David Blair didn't score the penalties, but he's a brilliant stand off. Far better than Godman I think and Robinson still trust him. He's really young, it was he's first Hcup game ever, moreover against Toulouse which is a great team. So he did really well. :bravo:
