Broken arm recovery’s usually about 8wks. He’s already 2 or 3wks into that now. Central contracts are for the whole season. It's not hate, Daly has broken his arm.

And that blank IC slot is absolutely screaming outI'm fine with most of it, but Slade? I really hoped we might have turned the page there. Particularly given how positive Borthwick has been about Atkinson.
But these aren't short term game by game contracts, they are 1-3 years, so Daly is obviously in Borthwick's long term thinking when he recovers and this way England have a larger say in how much he plays. It's not hate, Daly has broken his arm.
As mentioned above, it could be that Slade is on year 2 of a 2 year deal. And that blank IC slot is absolutely screaming out![]()

You're obssessedThere is no suggestion that these contracts have been improved to counter the presence of R360,
"pre-contractual"even though the breakaway league is said to have agreed legally binding pre-contractual agreements with up to 10 players that have represented England in the past year.'

Who are the hookers?, dammed if i can open the link
As a Chiefs fan I agree on Slade, is league and international form just isn't really there, still rate him but he's down the England pecking order, Daly however had proved himself and shown how good a player he still is so I'm happy he got one. An in form utility player who played well for England and the Lions(before injury). When I saw he was in a thought it was positive. Why the **** are Daly and Slade still stealing a living. If Roebucks done enough then why hasn't Atkinson, and no offence to Ollie Lawrence but if you're out for the best part of a year then....?
Some weird picks in here and you'd think there would be a bit of room to hold a couple of contracts in reserve to reward breakthrough/consistent players that weren't quite there when the rest were confirmed
I honestly think Borthwick sees Marcus as a 10/15 hybrid. Can he push Quins to play him more at 15?Not entirely sure why we need 3 out and out 10s (let's be honest, M isn't a 15). Or 4 what are predominantly open sides - I'd have had CCS ahead of one of those.
Few in there with injury issues - Martin, Furbank and Lawrence. All in a first choice 23 but who knows what they'll be like on return but I guess half the point is that they can now be looked after the way Eng want them to be.
Bit humiliating for Dan but he can't have any complaints.

At a guess two players paving the way for future, making sure we go into the world cup with no one cap wonders. There are 2 of them. Have a wild stab in the dark.
