This scene was the calm before the storm where I famously got my dick stuck in a finger trap. These were my last moments of happiness watching this scene.

Ronin has the best car scene, by a mile.

Kubric has a plethora:

"There is no fighting in the War room" from Dr Strangelove
The Bomb scene from Dr Strangelove
Fighting scene from Clockwork Orange
Bar scene from Clockwork orange
Opening scene from Full Metal Jacket

I personally love the end of Aguirre the Wrath of god, but i am a Werzog fan. Kurosawa's Ran has an epic battle scene that i love too.
Royal tenembaums has a few good ones too.

I'm surprised we've reached 5 posts without Tarantino.

I love this scene in Good Will Hunting, where Chuck tells Will that if he's still working in construction in 20-30 years time with the ability he's got he will kill him because it would be an insult to him and all the other guys working who don't have what he has. Matt Damon's face in this just conveys just the right emotion of finally getting it and it took his best mate to tell it to his face for him to finally understand to not waste his life.

Ending to one of my favourite films Cinema Paradiso.

Still the best shootout.

Or when the two heavyweights in Hollywood come face to face.

Bueller is a classic, but BTTF is still no.1 1980s film in my book. What is there not to love - time travel, back to 1950s America, a guy facing his worst nightmare, where he has to fend off the advances of mother and get his parents back together or he will no longer exist and get back to his time and only having one shot at it. And 88 Miles per hour.......!!!!!!!!
