Fitness routine

Hi all,

I got my hands on a cheap Fitness card and want to start working out, getting ride of the X-mas/ NY belly and starting the new Year sharp.
Does anybody knows where I can find a decent rugby work out for the gym, preferably for beginners as I will combine the work out with my indoor cricket practice.

Good exercises to do if your short on time/looking to just start out are compound exercises anything where you use more than one muscle. for example:
Chest Press
Lat Pull Downs/Chin Ups
Shoulder Press
Leg Press/Squats
Clean and Jerks
Then throw in some core exercises
planks
sit up's
dont know what it's called but holding the extended push up position for extended periods of time.
And a bit of interval training as well rowing i find is the best
like 45 sec - 1 min full pace
1:30 - 2 mins rest
bout 8-10 intervals

that should get you started and knacker you out plenty :D

Thanks i need to look into getting myself back into tip top condition. Strong lifts looks a good site.
