Flutey ruled out of AI

Step up Jordan Turner-Hall.

Hipkiss is my choice at 13 for the time being.

Apparently Delon may be out injured too.

So, here's who I'd pick...

9. Care
10. Flood/ Wilkinson/ Cips subject to form
11. Monye
12. Turner-Hall or Hipkiss
13. Hipkiss or Tait
14. Cueto or Strettle if DA is injured
15. Armitage, but if hes injured then put Cueto to fullback

Flood-Allen-Hipkiss.

Once they bed in together at Tigs, they'll be as good a trio as any midfield in the world.

Now that Armitage is injured too I'd personally go with a back line of

09. Care
10. Wilkinson
11. Banahan
12. Turner-Hall
13. Hipkiss
14. Cueto
15. Monye

Although i fear both Banahan and Turner-Hall in the back line might be a bit too little experience against the likes of the Aussies and New Zealand.

Actually to be honest I don't care as long as Tindall is nowhere near the England shirt.

Tindall playing in the 03 World Cup, therefore is almost guaranteed a place, whether he's good enough or not =/

Where is Mauger in the mix?

Not in an England shirt.

Besides, Allen ****** on him from a great height.

Christ. This Allen must be BOD and Dan Carters' illegitimate love child. Ive never heard of the bloke, but i know that Mauger is the best quality NZ midfielder in the world at the moment. i would trade Mills, Roks and So'oialo for Mauger in a heartbeat. hes 10x the player Riki Flutey is at least.

But you say this Allen fellow ****** on him from a great height? well.. i guess i'l have to remember the name then.

Really?

Mauger has been 18 different shades of **** since joining Leicester.[/b]

Really? perhaps the nightlife in England is a bit much for the lad.

Theres no doubt in my mind that he will come right eventually, class is permanent.

In NZ at least he was top notch. just does all the basics well, makes everyone around him look good. he stands in the right places, runs the right lines, passes at the right time. hes got a few tricks to go with those core skills as well. We need him to come over and hold our shitty back up fly halves hands so bad right now. Its been in the paper numerous times that the NZRU are trying to get him back for 2011.

Believe me if he gets anywhere near his NZ form whoever is playing around him will benefit. It was Mauger that really got Dan Carter hitting top gear after all.

Mauger is a very classy player.

Allen could yet get there. But at the moment, he has to get in the Leicester team, and to overtake Turner-Hall who is the obvious candidate for the 12 shirt after last season's efforts (in Flutey's absence). He straightens well, is strong in the tackle and quick. He would compliment a footballing flyhalf like Flood, Cips or Geraghty very nicely.

Armitage is definitely out of the AIs.

There's Foden and Morgan of the specialist fullbacks, or we could switch Tait, Cueto or Monye to FB. Personally I'd go with Cueto because he's a very good defensive winger anyway. Foden is very flaky, Monye's more of a wing and Morgan isn't quite there. Tait... I'd love him to just concentrate on being a 13.
