Food for thought.... or maybe not.

After watching the Amlin final last night and the kick fest that ensued, a friend of mine suggested that in order to see more "rugby" kicks at goal should only be allowed from penalties awarded inside the opposition 10 metre line (i.e between the opposition try line and 10M).

I personally think that this is not a great idea as it could be a bit of a cheats charter but as a fair, well rounded and thoroughly decent chap I thought I'd ask you good people what you think.
 
Not as silly as some suggestions. Wouldn't make much difference though. Seeing huge kicks such as those by Steyn or Halfpenny are impressive in their own right, so I wouldn't like to see them disappear.
