You want me to explain why I like something you don't?

Why? If I do a good enough job are you suddenly going to like him?
I just don't get why some people like him. He's more a political commentator than comedian from what I've seen. I saw a clip where he was talking about frankie boyle and Jimmy Carr and how they tell jokes. He worded it as though they were doing it wrong, but I'm not sure why. They're doing what they are suppose to.

Part of his act is him being bitter about other comedians success, it’s like a sort of Alan Partridge thing. There’s a bit where he tells a joke that has jazz music which because of copyright he’s not allowed to play, so he gets the audience to imagine the jazz music. Then at the end he says if you don’t find it funny it’s because you were imagining the wrong jazz music.

Pizza, or burger n' fries tonight?

Management companies and leaseholds.

I paid the service charge on my flat in full in March this year. They have decided to suddenly shift the payment date to August and are demanding a full years payment again with 1 months notice of the change. On top of that, discovered due to the ground rent rising too much, the flat is virtually unsellable and fixing the lease on this issue is going to cost about 20k.

Management companies and those who own the freehold for leasehold properties can burn in hell.

Yep, anyone with an "interest" in residential property without residing in it themselves can get to utter ****. I've been renting for 22 years and I've had *one* landlord I'd describe as good, like 7/10 good.

Im not buying this, as a responsible landlord, and someone who knows a lot of responsible landlords, I can't accept that landlording in general is negative.

Wait until every home is owned by the same 6 companies, and see how great renting is!

TBF my experience with landlords was better than with the management company. I had 3 landlords and I'd say 2 were pretty good and attentive to issues in the properties. The first was an absolute cowboy running a flat with a multitude of faults and I got out of there as soon as the contract expired.

Funny enough, my 3rd landlord was Gary who had been on the Apprentice. Decent guy actually.

Investors who think they are these fantastic, self-made individuals and give out loads of advice on how to get rich but you then discover their process is:
1) Have millionaire investor parent who actually knows what they are doing set up a company for you, give you a few million to play with and advises you in what to do
2) Profit.

Yep I know someone like this who has genuinely deluded themselves into thinking they are a rags to riches self made genius when actually she had it all given to her as soon as she left uni.

This is apt. Im a super small landlord, and everytime I hear people complain about small landlords in tell them wait until we are going and management companies own everything...

I work with one, he works at a charity, for basically minimum wage, doing 24 hour shifts so he can bring his equipment in and set up to spend hours 'trading' and gambling...

Claims to be from the gutter, but was given 100k to set up his platform by daddy.

Weirdly its his entire personality, he lives in a not so great area, where mummy and daddy live in the super wealthy area, he drives a 65 plate Polo, but has use of his dad's Jag, boat and mobile home, and he even pretends to be from a criminal background, which is super weird considering his private education.

Im not going to lie, his portfolio looks great, and i am envious, but after 9 years he would have had more by dumping the 100k into the SP500. He brags about 80% growth lol.

Nice guy, and super informed, good to get tips from because hes so immersed in the market, but absolute delusion.

What is a brilliant read!!!

Where are the Queens 7 kids? Has she fled from them (I know that instinct).

What has Asnat fled the USA to be a slave in a 3 person tribe in the Scottish borders?! How did she get there undetected?

And mostly, WTF are they thinking, Jedburgh is nice enough July, but wait until November when it hits -3 and its not use having a queen and a handmade, because the kings pee pee won't come out to play!!!
