I'd say no Gregan shouldn't be inducted in the hall of fame, the main reason being that I can name 4 players that played in his era that are better scrum halves than Gregan: Rob Howley, Joost Van der Westhuizen, Justin Marshall and Agustin Pichot

NO

to be honest howley, pichot, and joost were good scrum halves.. but not better than Gregan. As esoj said above the only one that compared was Marshall..theres no doubt that gregan was better

who has the most caps out of all of them

Great Logic There.

Ben Cohen must be better than CauCau than.

Cohen>Howlett
:lol2tn: Seriously, this is the kind of comment that makes me wonder how this guy didn't win the 'comedy genius award'! :roflrol: [/b]
C'mon now, what chance would I ever have against your lightning wit?

A hall of fame is about quality not quantity, Gregan has the most caps, this merely means that he's managed to keep himself fit for a long period of time. Howley was a better runner, passer and kicker than Gregan From what I've seen of Gregan I'd say he had decent service but that has long since left him, Howley, Dawson, Marchall and VDW and Pichot could always fire pass out much quicker than Gregan, his defence was always rock solid, he was never much of a runner from what I can recall, certainly not when compared to Howley, Marshall and Pichot and his kicking game is non existant and for the last 5 years Chris Whitaker has been a better scrum half. Gregan has been dependable for a very long time, but I never really thought he was anything too special

yes it may be true that gregans pass was not up to par with those... but he had one thing that those scrum halves didnt

its the most essential of all scrum half skills

his vision was second to none, and one of the best i have ever seen.. dont let the latest calling for his head by the aussie media deter this mans great career..

Jonny Howard has Vision.

Jonny Howard can't pass.

Jonny Howard is a shite Scrum Half.

See a pattern?

stop tryin to bring down gregans accomplishments cause your english

anyone who plays scrum half will tell you that besides having a decent to good pass which gregan most deffinetly has, great vision is what its all about..

And defence, George is by far one of the best the technical defenders the game has ever seen.

And rubberleg........ tell me, why do you get the feeling his kicking game is non existent. He is a very good kicker when it is needed, but to be honest this is very rare. He will kick - albeit rarely - so it is certainly in existance.

yea because when you have one of the best tactical kickers in the game for your whole career standing at 10, this being stephen larkham, whats the point of box kicking when you can give it up to your 10 and get a booming punt from one of the best kickers in the game..

The deadline has expired.

The results are in.

The closet call in HOFF history.

Only a few of us know the result.

It may cause contoversy.

It may shead tears.

But the results are now...

your everyones little angel today arent you

I've removed DC's warning because it isn't only a valid point, it's an undeniable one...
lets review the list of HOFFS:
Getofmeland (England)
Teh Mite (England)
Kaftka (New Zealand)
Ripper (New Zealand)
Rassie (South Africa)
SaintsFan_Webby (England)
Don Billy (France)
captainamerica (US)

Now it's pretty clear that of those nominated, kiwi's and poms are more likely to get entrance simply due to bias. Now, you've got 8 members on the 'HOFF' panel, which is the number of almost all the major rugby playing nations out there, so why not have ONE member per country to make sure everyone gets a fair go?
