Just started playing again after 10yrs out. Its a new team and we train 3 times a week, monday, wednesday, and friday. Im as UNFIT as you could ever beleve, couple that with the fact we dont have any tackle bags etc and ALL training like rucking and tackleing is done at full contact im feeling F***ED !!! My legs are tight and dont seam to want to take a full stride when running !!! Should i miss the wednaesday session to aid recovery ? I want to get fit though as i wont play a game untill im 100%, i couldntgo into a tackle at 50% or ill get killed !
