Is very easy to do this pass.
I use a ps2 pad in my computer, and is very very easy, only click twice on the pass button.

it's like Fa'atau82 said it, it's a cancellation animation, so it's only a matter of timing...try to hold the first movement a little bit and then press the pass button to the other side...with a joystick is not that hard

yeah well i honestly hate the pc key config, so it's more difficult on pc...but it's a matter of practice, that's all
