The Arsenal impression of a Wales shirt was one of the worst. Reebok made far better shirts for Wales, the last few have had far too much pointless white on it with borders, outlines and that strange square currently under the collar.

Football stays to the traditional shirts far better than rugby who always muck about with them every season, and as a result the shirts especially at club level become far more iconic. Teams like the Ospreys change add a random new colour every season, you wouldn't see that with Liverpool or Arsenal home shirts.

I like that the Welsh Rugby Shirts have a little white with innovative designs. Reebok Shirts were boring for me, completely red.

It's not boring, it's identity. Which it seems far too many rugby teams disregard. Teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid have built up iconic shirts that people know world over, a successful European rugby team like Leinster, Ospreys don't have that from changing it too much. Even the Scarlets despite their name, managed to inexplicably add brown chunks to their shirt one season. Cardiff Blues have changed their shade of blue every other season seemingly.

This should be the Welsh shirt for good. Just updated with new materials etc. No pointless white piping (thank goodness they don't have Canterbury making them) or imitations of the Arsenal shirt. The football team don't overly mess with shirts pointlessly.

I don't mind some white. At least a white collar or something. One of the previous edition Canterbury swirl designs might have worked. I thought I heard UA were leaving the kit business, can't remember where.
