This decision does seem to me that "you can take Johnson out of the Tigers, but you can't take the Tigers out of Johnson".
It's certainly of more benefit to England then Leicester or serving as punishment to Ospreys. Strange decision.

Why not Halfpenny at full-back? Atleast then you could have a Hook-Roberts partnership in the center, and Hook could still cover some of the full-back duties.

Aparently Gatland is considerng calling up Dan Evans from the Scarlets. But then nobody should ever trust the Western Mail.

We've now ended up with a situation where delibriate gouging = accientally being on the field for 50 seconds. How was this Byrne's fault? Does every player need to stand on the touchline counting how many players are on the field before returning?
As for who will now play fullback, I'd personally go with Jamie Roberts. I know it's a bit harsh on the bloke, as he hasn't played that position in a while, but it means we can then play Hook and Bishop as centres. Halfpenny could move back, but his performances at fullback recently have been poor. Hook of course could move back, but we then end up with zero attacking prowess in midfield.
The more I think about it, the worse I feel. Arrrrgggg, ffs, stupid f***ing situation to be in......
