Leicester Tigers v Scarlets

Sat in the stands, struck me Clancy had another shocker. Stoddart's try was incredible, should have been worth six. Tigers had the tactics spot-on from about 15 minutes in: Put the Scarlets under preassure and force them to kick. Martin Roberts looked appauling as did the entire pack, aside from Lyons and possibly McCusker.

The beat Perpignan last week and scored 40+ points in the process. That's okay.

Leicester seem to have the measure of the Scarlets every time they meet. Leicester just have the kinda pack the Scarlets struggle to live with. The first 15mins went well for the Scarlets, but letting Leicester score while still at 14 men showed what kinda day it was gonna be like. Scarlets hung on untill half-time, but the first 10mins of the second half killed them. After that the Scarlets tried to play too much rugby in their own half (only place they could get possetion) and handed Leicester a couple of easy tries. Leicester looked good, but the general concensus after the match was that the Scarlets didn't turn up and many Leicester fans were a bit disapointed because of it.

Great day out non the less, Leicester fans were great to be amongst, got chatting to quite a few.
