Nope. Too busy killin commies ............ Or whatever they have for badguys in this game.

To be honest, its the best FPS out there, they could charge more and still sell it well.

yes the pricing sucks but you just know everyone you know will almost definitely be playing this anyway regardless of it costing more. also a lot of games have been pulled until next year because of this game and the excepted sales it will have which is quite an impressive feat and also means modern warfare 2 has now quickly become one of the only decent games to get in november. the video for this game looks awesome and I will be getting day 1 for sure.

It says it all about the Modern Warfare series when it has dropped the Call of Duty from its name. It is now a seperate entity.

Really can't wait for this game, not seen the gameplay videos posted above
I played CoD4 multiplayer again, for the first time in ages, last night and it's excellent.
I've seen it places for £45, which is about average for a 360 game

Ahhh but Left 4 Dead 2 is still due for release on November 20th. I wonder who was reacting to who.

Eeeeek. FPS on a console? Whats the point?[/b]

They are still a lot of fun on a console and I've never found a keyboard and a mouse an easy way to control an FPS myself. Different things for different people I guess.

Its actually going that way.

While all decent FPS's (Halo excluded) are still being designed for PC, then ported across, the majority of sales would probably be coming through the console market.

However, you place two equally skilled people in a room playing an FPS, give one a controller and the other a M&KB combo. The M&KB will win everytime (while calling the console head a noob gaytard or something equally intelligent).

sales are definitely coming from the console market activision made it no secret during the world at war beta on pc that the 360 was where there largest sales were coming from for cod anyway. I don't know I would go as far as saying consoles are the new home for fpses but this generation there is definitely a lot more being pumped onto the consoles with their pc counterparts and a lot more console exclusive fps games too.

There's something about holding a controller that (whether or not it's as efficient) feels so much more like holding some sort of weapon out in front of you. It's more like it because you have both hands in front of you and your holding something somewhat pointed at the screen. A little more realistic, you don't see US soldiers walking around with controllers no, but they'd look less like a nerd holding one than walking around on patrol with a keyboard hanging off their side and a mouse in their hand, more efficient or not.

consoles will always be held in very high regard because there is minimal piracy - what goes out the door for consoles is essentially $$

the developers pockets are filled by the consoles
then they are emptied somewhat buy piracy on pc

i wouldnt specifically make games for a platform that rips me off

there is also a trend this generation of once exclusive ***les/developers branching across to multiple consoles to make a bit more money whereas in the past they did just stick to the one platform.

I hate FPS's on consoles simply cos of the controls, so I totally agree with Logorrhea. Theres no competition of Mouse & Keyboard vs Control Pad. Try navigating the Windows desktop with a control pad for a few minutes till it ****** you off :p

I will say I love Battlefield 1943 mind on the PS3 and I have NO IDEA why... I tried the half hour demo and found myself sucked in and just had to buy it. THATS A FIRST for me. But all other FPS's that come out will be bought for my PC.

Hey Craig if you're looking for feel on a controller then check this mouse out.

My buddy has one and it's pretty ferkin excellent indeed. Really does feel like a gun when yer pulling the trigger plus you got all the accurate navigation of a mouse.

I had one of those for a good solid year but then I think something died internally on it as it would continually just randomly keep switching itself off tried shifting usb ports but it still happened so I suspect something on the inside of the mouse itself died. they also cost a fair bit here in nz so I got an mx518 instead to replace it. I would definitely like another zalman though as it was the best mouse I have used in my many years of pc gaming.
