Munster v Ospreys

Ospreys dicepline was bad in the first half. Second half, the ref assumed the Ospreys discepline was bad and gave every 50-50 decisson to Munster, plus some 100-0 ones that should have gone the Ospreys way. They sorted it out, so the ref should have too.

On the plus side, Rhys Webb looked quite good when he came on and I think Dan Biggar needs a few bad games to bring him down to earth.

Ah but they were still shite, and should have no complaints about the result. If the ref had carded lads at the start of the 1st half, it'd have been a better game with far less nonsense and players trying to get away with things.

The ref was shite, the O's were shite, Munster were shite.

On another Os note does anyone know how to shut dan bigar up. He's staring to do my head in every time I go on their website!!

Biggar is on a downward slump as it is. Sooner Tovey gets fit and finds form and hopefully he will overtake Biggar.

I never bought all the Biggar hype anyway, he only had his chance because Hook missed a few kicks at goal. Personally i still think Hook should play 10, he can do things on a rugby pitch that Biggar will never be able to and I think his skill set is better suited to 10 than centre.

You and me both.
Perhaps we can convince Gatland...
Biggar isn't bad, he has had a few good performances, but some people act like he will be the next 10 and a future Phil Bennett and the like.

BTW... Anyone notice how awkward he looks in that video on the Ospreys site? :p

Yeah, they where, but I hate to credit Munster.

Well done Munster.

Anyway- Tommy Bowe! Isn't he marvelous!

Lads late commenting but well a good win Saturday night. Quinny produced a super display on his 200th cap and well I think I very happy because for Munster and Ireland we have 2 lads in Varley and Buckley that I think won't be far off starting in green and well I know PDV is bit mad in South Africa but how is Du Preez not considered in Boks squad.
Also happy with way new lads have slotted in to set up easily and fact we've gone back to basics a bit and just seem that bit more secure in some areas

Bad news for the Turnips:

http://munsterrugby.ie/news/7953.php

The three players, Felix Jones, Ian Dowling and Denis Fogarty, withdrawn during the course of Saturday night's win over the Ospreys, all look set for lenghty recovery spells.

Initial tests have shown that Jones suffered cruciate ligament damage to his left knee while the full extent of the damage Dowling sustained to his right hip has yet to be fully determined. Both will seek further specialist advice but initial indications are that they face lengthy period of rehab.

Hooker Denis Fogarty underwent a shoulder operation this morning in a Dublin clinic and he will be out of action until after Christmas.

Absolutely gutted for Jones, he's looked a class act this season so far and I thought he had a great chance of ousting Kearney(who lets face it, has been awful for a long time now and with ping pong gone out of the game, his main weapon has been kinda neutralized) for the number 15 jersey this year. Anybody have an idea how long he is likely to be out for?

Lads can inform ye at moment it looks like Felix won't play again this season if cruciate is gone. Fogarty may be back for January the operation was a success but rehab is vital part and getting the movement back. And Ian Dowling still waiting in some tests but this is a serious hit on our depht loosing 3 so early and Jones is unlucky as his form was excellent

I think Jones is the biggest loss of the three. He's currently their starting or primary backup full back. Dowling can be covered easily by Johne Murphy, Keith Earls (though he'll probably play outside centre) and Denis Hurley while Fogarty is behind Damien Varley and Jerry Flannery at hooker.

Agreed Snoop but in a World Cup year we are going to be stretched and well Fla is bit injury prone and well I agree Jones is big loss due to his form but we still have alot of cover and well I expect Mafi will be back next week after having an excellent game last Friday in A game.
