I prefer some places of South Africa to France well the places I have been to.
At least in South Africa they tend to speak more of God's Language. (English BTW)
Mind you both countries have extremely attractive girls.
And the boar war wasn't to try and get rid of us it was because you were being to Greedy and Britain being the great place we are, thought that all those minerals and diamonds would be to much for you to handle, but greed had already corrupted you and alas you declared war on us. Well that's what I was told at school.
I have been living here for 29 years! not once been mugged... If you travel to the depths of hell within SA, then you are bound to find trouble...
I lived in USA for 6 months, I was mugged, held at gunpoint and also got hijacked... I'll never go back to Boca Raton...
That's only when the races are on. He owns some of the bookies a lot of money there so avoids the area, well most of the time.

Well tourists are prime targets...
Two lads from my school went over to SA to play cricket for two months at some boarding school, first thing that happened to them was getting mugged.
Scotland- Like Ireland, only the women are bigger, and the life expectancy is shorter.

"God's country"....even meant with tongue in cheek, it comes out as so very typically "Englishly" patriotic. To even think of making that remark, joke or not, that self-centered mindset...so strange. So strange !

Technically, the whole earth's 'God's country' (if you believe that sort of thing)...so looks like no matter where we live, it's His...and boy, o boy, are we screwing it all the hell up.

well actually, in circles that debate "that sort of thing", some believe our time on earth is Hell. There is no Hell after life, Hell is here and now, and do we survive it and make the right choices ?...I must say, I feel this is very, very founded...!
