The Ospreys are unveiling their new kit on Friday morning. Can't be too bad, surely. I just hope they get rid of the little masks littering the armpits, and make the second kit (You know, the orange one) a little less, erm, what's the word? "Vigoerous"[/b]

"Having established itself as one of the biggest selling shirts in the northern hemisphere domestic game in recent seasons"

I demand statistical proof.

It's true pal. We're the second biggest seller in Britain and Ireland after Munster. So I reckon if the kit turns out to be lush tomorrow we might overtake our Celtic cousins; as theirs is buzzing!! :P
On the kits themselves I've heard that the home and away kits are black and gold and white and gold respectively, and our third kit will be........... Blue and green

 since when does gold have anything to do with Neath or Swansea?

I think they're going for the ''bling'' look, seeing as they wen't for the ''hard'' look with the tattoo last season :P
why the hell are they getting a new one anyway?! 3rd one in 3 seasons, they should go back to the 07/08 kit. Now that was a nice kit, nothing flashy, just nice.

OK first reaction to this was hmm, may vomit.

But after watching the Vid below, the Kit doesn't look so Orange teletubbyish. I reckon it was just the Camera. May be clutching at straws.

"ITs true pal" doesnt make it fact. I second the call for statistical evidence to support this outrageous assumption. First that you could sell many jerseys at all, and secondly that the Munster fans actually "buy" jerseys in the first place. Lies! Both of them!

That's right. We don't buy things down here, we don't understand this funny Dublin concept....

We trade jerseys for potatoes (or 'spuds' as we like to call them).

Ospreys fella who gives you these statistics cleary means that the Ospreys jersey is the second best selling in the Neath/Swansea area (where they use munny), after the Munster Jersey/

Boys. Our kit is 'angin.

More images at bottom of article. :( :( :( :([/b]

Ahhh did you get your jeresy sales stats from the same guy who came up with this beauty ""To be able to confirm a sponsorship package of more than £700,000, which is once again believed to be amongst the most valuable in the club and regional game in this country, is a powerful business statement from the Ospreys"

Preferred last years kit but thats not too bad. The second strip is orrible though.

So the Opsreys are playing in a melted mars bar.

White is marginally better but still rubbish imo.

Is that fake dirt on the guy on the left (above?)[/b]
No, that's just Hibbard's face. (Odd choice of players to promote the kit, don't you think? Wouldn't Shane Williams be the obvious choice, and Mike Phillips always seems more than up for a bit of modeling.)

Not a big fan of the kit, myself. Don't mind the colour scheme too much, but think the placement of gold is a bit, well, rubbish. On the upside, I like the shoulders. Even if they seem to still have the same 'orrible armpits. (No, not Ian Goth, the shirt!)

It's the Ospreys, it's probably fake tan ;)

I don't think the new kit is that bad, though if it were black and grey/silver i think it'd look better

The Ospreys are a region and not just two cities... you're forgetting Bridgend etc. So we don't need to stick to black and white.

I like the jersey and hope the alternate kit will be just as nice!

Good greif... you any of the <strike>purgatory</strike> <strike>fake-irish-****</strike> Magners league teams have a decent kit this year?????
