That female goal kicker didn't do their reputation much favours with that trial. Did they pull out through embarrassment at this kick attempt?

No she had thigh strain, watching it from another angle, you can see her face as she stretches to kick the ball that she pulls something.

Not sure what to think. On the one hand, this is a better logo but I feel they are losing part of their hisory. The Dolphins dynasty will be known for that hidious Flipper with the headphones. I guess it will start to look better over time.

Awful lot of revamping being done and anymore on Jaguars giving Jacksonville 1 last season to start getting attendances up or they'll be moving franchise to west coast

I think Florida is just not the right place for 3 NFL franchises (Miami, Tampa Bay and Jax).

Agree, I wouldn't mind if it was a Football hotbed but it isnt, not at NFL level anyway. However the fact they are rebranding, let alone their commitment to London games, means the Jags arent going anywhere for now.

It's still weird to have a city like LA without an NFL team. Was it the Rams who played there before re-locating?

Yep and after them there was the Oakland Raiders. Who left a big culture there. ESPN Films did a documentary on the LA Raiders and the culture they left behind.

The Rams played in Los Angeles from 1946-1994(technically in Anaheim a suburb from 80-94) and the Raiders from 1982-1994 both left LA in the exact same year, the Chargers also played in Los Angeles in 1960(in the AFL in the pre merger days, which is now the AFC conference) before moving down the coast to LA.

The big knock against Los Angeles for years was the crappy stadium situation which is one of the reasons that both the Raiders and Rams left in the same year, both teams were also splitting the potential fan base and the Rams for years were a poor side. The NFL twenty years ago wasn't quite as healthy as it is today either. San Diego is only a couple of hours away as well so some fans "adopted" them as their team or they simply started supporting a franchise that had players they liked.

Some football fans in Los Angeles who are passionate supporters of other teams actually don't want a team to relocate, since the local teams broadcasts will override any out of region games and fans will get stuck watching LA or forced to pay big money for NFL viewing packages(I suppose "illegal" viewing would be an option but it's always a bit skecthy)

He's apparently coped for well with the change. Still remember seeing his first touch, caught a pass and ran for 16 yards.
