shux the Pisi brothers! i think thats the first time i've seen 3brothers in a top class team, they are brothers aye i saw a news thing on them before...

is troy not considered too because of international commitments? if he is still in the AB's?

This NH team can put down a pretty lethal backline!

Yeah, I think Flavell will also not be considered.

No word on Evans though.

Great to see Ben Afeaki there. I was hoping he'd step up for Auckland but it just wasn't meant to be. Interesting to see John Afoa there too. Good set of props there for Harbour.

Tusi Pisi is rubbish.

I thought Evans was still going to be considered an Otago Player for the 2007 NPC?

He is, but if he is selected for the All Blacks he won't play for them. OR he said something similar to that..

Well Obviously, but for all intensive purposes he would still be an Otago Player and wouldn't appear in the Harbour Squad.

ripper is right. evans is still under otago this season.

also... flavell is actually under auckland i think. i remember matsy and oz giving him **** about it on code last year.

nah when he came back from japan he signed for auckland in the npc. he just didnt play last year for them becase he had shoulder surgery i think.

heres abit of wiki info about it...

"In October 2005, Flavell returned to New Zealand after a season with Japanese club Toyota Verblitz, opting for a switch to Auckland instead of joining his former team North Harbour (based in North Auckland). He is contracted to Auckland for two seasons."

I didnt know that. Most of us thought he joined up with Harbour again. Interesting.

Only thing missing is a talented young and up coming super star called Lavea (Waikato will swap the microwave back).

I have read that Evans is more likely to sign for Auckland rather then Harbour.

Aparently Harbour can't afford a player who will only be playing a couple of games (because of all black commitments) whereas Auckland has more expendable income for recruitment for the Blue region.

So much for the salary cap spreading the talent so more good players get game time. Hopefully the newspaper are wrong on this one.
