Its pretty unfair that there is no Argentine no.10 in that poll!Felipe Contepomi and Juan Martin Hernandez are just as good as any of those players in the poll, if not better than some of them!

nobody else then dan carter atm, quade cooper looks like he will be in a few years though

I love Stephen Donald. It's fair enough to say he doesn't perform when picked for NZ but for the Chiefs he's class.
Also, DAN CARTER IS THE BEST 10 IN THE WORLD! CAN WE STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS NOW? **** MORNE STEYN. **** QUADE COOPER. **** JONNY SEXTON. **** DAN BIGGAR.
DAN CARTER IS THE MAN!!!

there is a lot of unfair crap going around about Donald, he is a very good player. He can break tackles, his defence is very good - he's even come up with some quality try saving tackles for the AB's. When he's on form his goal kicking is as good as anyone in the world.

Last year he lead the chiefs to the finals, the must win game against ACT and the quater final he scored all the points in both matches and his kicking game set both games up. He also played very well for the chiefs this year apart from a couple of games where his kicking for goal failed him. That happens to the best players, Hell even Steyn had a game this year where he only converted 1 of 7-8 trys the bulls scored in a big win they had an carter had a game where he only got 1 from 5 or something... The chiefs problem this year was injuries in the tight 5. They got torn apart at ruck/lineout & scrum most of the season and the backs got crap ball.

For the AB's sure there have been a couple of tests he could have done better but all the same not "bad" games, that one dropped high ball of his that was replayed on the news over and over again by the media seemed to convince the NZ public that he was the problem when the reality was the Boks were beating us by scoring points through stolen lineout ball. And the finger should have been pointing at Hore & Ross.

Also note as far as test matches go every time he's come off the bench for the AB's he's had a +ve impact. Including 2 games were he had a major role in helping the AB's come from behind on the scoreboard to win games against Australia.

I think most of the problem kiwi's have with Donald is that he's not Dan Carter... We are so used to having a 10 that wins games even when he has an off day and expect everything our 10 to do to be sublime...

No he's not the best 10 in the world. But on a good day he can better anyone, I hope he bounces back next year. The more competition there is for AB spots the better.
