Fair play to Exeter for one hell of a comeback. Their players must be struggling to not get hammered tonight.

I have read since that he was screaming for it on more than one occasion but that didn't quite come across on my wife's 13" laptop screen.
He was definitely waving his arms for the ball at one point but it felt like it was after the best opportunity for the DG and it was more that he wanted to ship it wide - felt like he was too close in for a DG attempt (though it could've been a "give me the ball in three phases" rather than a "give me the ball now")

Carreras is hardly the only one to blame, it felt like the end of the Ireland ABs quarter final where they only had half of one idea

Not in a DG position he wasn't, he just wanted to go wide (and his weren't the only hands calling for it - so I assume Ex were all-in on narrow defence at the time)

For my sanity I've convinced myself this is one of the instances where a still image is misleading and the ball was spilled forward...

There were a few times where it looked like the ball scraped the line, but none that looked like they'd be clear on replays, and the players weren't exactly demanding a TMO intervention.
I also never trust myself on these without replays as so many times I think I see the ball on the line, and it turns out to be a boot, or a strapped elbow or something.

Either way, with noone even remembering that drop goals still score points, Bath have only themselves to blame - players (DG, depth in atack) and coaches (delayed front row subs).

Finally, please gods, can we have Blackett back? England aren't using him, and the step down in Baths attack is palpable.

**** I'm drained from that ending! What a comeback and what defence at the end. Can't say we didn't earn it.

2 great play off games and this final will be great!

As a Bath fan, obviously disappointed. But Saints have been the best team as others have said, and they've done so playing an exciting brand of rugby. I hope they win.

100% agree on all of that until you said you hope they win :) .

We arnt the favourites by any means but we wernt today or vs tigers, and Sarries I think we wernt clear favourites.

We were favourites vs quins and Gloucester who we lost to so im not u happy to be the underdogs :).

Saints are an exciting brand of rugby but we have played some great stuff.
