So I watched the last 10 min on my phone as I'm with family, how was the game/performance? Glad we stayed in touch till the end.

And why was Vincent on the wing? Although he is quick.

Last pass almost was correct option bad execution, but yeah their was a hint of panic for that full phase

Good bit of tension on the scoreboard for the neutral, but both sides were pretty scrappy and wasteful.

Some glimpses of the old Exeter and some nice moves in attack at times.

Pretty even game outside of the scrum, really
Sale should've had a PT in the first half (Roots yellowed for collapsing a maul as it was going over the line - no PT because there were other Chiefs players in the maul, which doesn't make sense to me as none could've prevented the ball being placed) which might have made the ending a little less frantic

Obviously a home loss isn't a good result but it was definitely a better performance than a lot from this season

PBB came off at halftime, commentary suggested it was a tactical change

Odd tactical change although in a game that doesn't matter in terms of our season giving him gametime there to test him prior to the off season for cover, same as Earl covering 12, glad our showing has been better and given a platform to build on. Hopfully we start next season with IFW and a team on abetter gameplan

Worked well though tbf, especially at the breakdown - when you've got O'Flaherty and Vintcent as the first two to a breakdown out wide there's only one winner there
