Should still be a yellow for Joseph, there - even with the try scored
Edit: And it is! Too often you see things like that let go because of a try

I thought Barnes worked through both reds systematically any logically. I don’t suppose any ref enjoys dishing out early baths, but the rules are what they are and players have to learn. They’re not really going to get the benefit of any doubt in the current climate.Think with a bit of sympathy Barnes could have found some mitigation but none of the assistants are going to question him, especially when he took over control of the review process.
How was the deliberate knock not spotted either?
Something like that has to be looked at. Save the reds for the outright dirty but that’s still a tough sanction for the reckless / careless.Very conflicted about that red
That new 20min bin then a sub comes on, that they're trialling in super rugby, will be interesting to see

Can't agree with this, Barnes gave plenty of opportunity for anyone to say they disagreed and did the exact opposite of taking over control of the review process (it's for the ref to go through that process anyway). He was fair and methodical in both cases.Think with a bit of sympathy Barnes could have found some mitigation but none of the assistants are going to question him, especially when he took over control of the review process.

I missed the start, is there any reason for the ****le?This is all going to kick off soon
Don’t think u can question either or any law amendment should make any difference you can either hit to the head with force or you can’t, I see it as that simple, just because he is the ball carrier shouldn’t make any difference, appreciate he is not a dirty player and doesn’t seem the malicious type just plays with physically but he simply got it wrong on the day and can have no complaints.1st one is a red by letter of the law but probably is where the 20 min sin bin starts coming into play in trial down south in Auz.
the 2nd is a straight red no question, tbh by letter of the law both were thought through and correctly assigned. thought the clarity that WB gave was fair and gave his touch judges an adequate chance to intervene.
Dire game in total.
Nah, just both teams competing hard at the rucks so plenty of big collisions leading to some push and shoveI missed the start, is there any reason for the ****le?
You know what northerners are like always got to make out they are hard as ****, pair that with a SA contingent and you got ****le.I missed the start, is there any reason for the ****le?
Captain Danny Care based on how he looks nowNah, just both teams competing hard at the rucks so plenty of big collisions leading to some push and shove
Chiefs get a lot of stick for their speed at the ruck but Care is definitely the biggest **** taker on box kicks - and the ref isn't even hurrying him up
Haha u called it...Captain Danny Care based on how he looks now

Was that an 8 making a break and running? Pfft absolutely ruined his England chances with that.
