Premiership Rugby 22/23 - Grand Final

I do hate the blockers/"cradle"

Penalty because someone was just stood in front of the ball receiver blocking a competition

What ever happened to Beaumont, should have been something special but just never seemed to take that step up.

Series of serious injuries, and surgery complications, robbed him of multiple years of his career - think he had about two full seasons out of the game after injury --> surgery --> infection --> surgery at one point

How the hell was that ruck legal, Goode got up from our side of the ruck and tackled the 9

I imagine that transferring to lock hasn't helped him out either. He's got the body for it but his playing style is pure No. 8.

Would have been cool to see sale scrap it out at the end. If it was still a great final. Sport is great. Good start to an amazing weekend of sport.

Felt mid way through the second Sale had a good opportunity to score but blew it.

Overall a good final. Saracens worthy winners.

Amazing that a team which was playing in the Championship a few years ago, wins the Premiership.

Think there were two key moments/lineouts that blew our chances of a comebacm - 5m one that got turned over, and then one in midfield that got turned over and led to the chargedown try

Hopefully we can build from here - we're going into next season pretty settled, which is rare for us

Congratulation for Saracens 👍
The Saracens were relegated to the English second division (2020-2021) and are now logically champions.
A relegation that has obviously been useless... as they have been England's best rugby team for 10 years.

Quality final that, Sale are building nicely and maybe having both Currys could have made the difference (in fairness Sarries had a few early injuries though). I don't know whether it's just that the commentators mention OF far more than Ford but Ford seemed to be far less involved.
