Premiership Rugby 23/24 - Rd 3

**** I thought Finn sealed it. Feel for the lad who knocked that on at the restart. Horrible conditions.

Absolute tonking, don't think there are any positives to take from it other than the ref was very good on his debut
Just seen the score, did not expect that. What tactics did we use in att and def? Im guessing in the rain? And kept it physical?

Yeah, just classic wet weather game: forward domination and a very good kick chase
Scrum and maul on top from minute 1 to 80
We had two tries (correctly) ruled out by the TMO in the first half but never really threatened beyond that

Exeter with a PD of 90 after just 2 games, none of which against traditional whipping boys...

Also this is not the start id expected with this new look team, maybe 3 or 4 of the starting 15 would be starters or even benchers in some cases last season and with the caliber of the leaving players ive been impressed.

Still not managed to watch any games yet as ive prioritied the WC and my wife moans if i watch to much rugby haha

Just got back from Sandy Park. To call it wet would be an understatement. Very, very impressed by our handling and securing the many highballs. Wyatt is a rock at 15 and Feyi-Waboso is filling the gap left by Jack Nowell nicely. Long way home for Sale. Sanderson looking bereft but honest in the post match interview.

Guessing Feyi Waboso is making up for the lost pace of Hodge.

How has Ben Hammersley been going? Seen he's had alot of gametime but not much of him. Must be a prospect?

For such a young lad, he's doing great. Making good decisions. I get really confused though as he looks so similar to Becconsall

Jeeze, on the zoomed out cameras it barely looks like it's raining then it zoomed in and it's absolutely torrential, you can even hear it on the ref mic

Is drainage better or worse on fake pitches? Looks like it's starting to pool up

Touch early for this, what with the internationals away, and... mismatches during the PRC; but...
The Prem teams have all now played 4 matches against other Prem teams (2 in PRC, and 2 in Prem). So the current form table looks like this.
Still can't post pics, so the 4-week's form after the weekend (so 1 PRC and 3 Prem matches) looks like this
Code:
PTS PD
 16 36 Bath
 15 16 Bristol
 14 86 Exeter
 12 -8 Northampton
 10 36 Leicester
 10 0 Harlequins
 10 -16 Gloucester
  8 -34 Sale
  6 -51 Saracens
  5 -59 Newcastle

The big movers are Gloucester, 2nd => 7th and Harlequins 9th => 6th
