Questions reference Rugby Team Manager 2015

Will the Kings (my useless team) feature in Super rugby in the game? From 2016 the competition will include 18 teams with the Kings returning alongside a Tokyo and Buenos Aires based franchise it seems

Was going to ask this, is there an Alternative Software forum and if not will there be one?

For the Football Manager series there is the Sports Interactive forum for which people often share their game edits, for example all the English tiers being added. Which would be cool to do for this.

So obviously mods can be posted here then. Does anyone know how to mod these sorts of games or will we have to wait to get the game to see?

Have to say that after the very poor reviews of the Rugby 2015 (which I will still rent) I have grown quite excited about this game.

Should we start a new topic to discuss mods for the game?

Not sure if there is enough interest in this game? Quiet sub-forum? I hope we get some more involved, i'm keen to work on the Japanese Top League and the perhaps the Romanian Super League.

I think a lot of people (myself included) are wary of what happened with Pro Rugby Manager, don't want to jump in with a purchase and are waiting for the opinions of the game. I'm sure if it turns out to be good there'll be lots of people jumping in to buy it.

Can you make your own fixtures? Like play a one off custom game and can you play one off tournaments too??

Or can you just do careers?

I am willing to help with Romanian Super Liga; anyway I would have done it for myself.

I may be being stupid, but where do you change the selected place kicker? I am playing with Gloucester and I want to play Laidlaw 9 and Hook 10, but it seems to default to the 10 kicking and I want to change to 9. Hooked missed 3 conversions and I missed out on a loosing BP!

I hope you are right. Early word is that it seems to be good, which bodes well for a strong modding community.

I am still a unsure about the editor? Can we create new leagues with teams? Not sure if anyone has mentioned that clearly yet. I really hope we can!

A few more answers

A few answers :

Training is undertaken by the coaches the club hires. Each coach has a specialisation in a different area and will affect
the players they are assigned to in different ways. This determines how player attributes are developed. The quality
of the training paddock, gym and technical kicking enclosure effect the limits of attribute development.

Coaches also have a positional expertise in a given position, and can, over time, retrain senior and colts players to specialise in this position.
However, the current and new positions are to be of a similar role, for eg. a scrum half could not retrain as a loose head prop forward.

Players will retire in their mid to late 30s.

The bigger clubs have a colts and an academy. The colts exists to develop the potential of young players and the academy exists to
support the main squad, whilst further developing higher calibre players.

Real time tactics can be handled broadly with a structured attack and defence style. Predetermined tactics for specific areas of the pitch will
determine how expansive or conservative your team plays. Or real time tactics can be handled more finely with an ad-lib attack and defence,
in which attacking moves and defensive patterns can be selected phase by phase.

There is also a team call feature to add to the real time interaction, where manager calls can give your team a specific advantage for a short duration.
The range of team calls at your disposal depends on the quality of your tactical briefing facility.

The art of keeping your managerial career stable is to maintain the backing of the executive board, whilst keeping the club's bank balance in the red.

Bigger or smaller clubs may come head hunting at the end of a season in an attempt to recruit you for their club.
What depth will the game have in terms of management:
- Will we be able to select specific skills to train or will this be broad position based?
- Will you be able to train a player towards a different position, specifically for youth players?
- Will players start declining at a certain age, or only consider retirement or both?
- How will the academy system work?
- What impact will the real time tactics have, will I be able give broad instructions or can you give specific instructions to players - Specific instructions in real time would be a disapointment for me as it goes beyond the influence a coach has on a game and gives too big an advantage over the A.I?
- How is a club's performance judged and whether you are offered better jobs or fired?

Hi guys :)
First of all, I love this game, really amazing :)
I just have one little problem: I don't arrive to see any match in 2D or 3D
Well when I press the "Advance" button to come to the day after (which will be the match day), I can't see the match, it gives me automatically the result of the match. Any tips?
Thank you again!
Cheers
