We have just started out pre-season at our club and have introduced ice baths into ourrecovery strategy both after training and games. I find that any muscle soreness that was getting after the session was soon reduced once i have used the ice bath and the following day, my muscles feel fresh and ready to train again. The ice baths we use are really good and so practical. They are inflatable and regulated which means that the water can be kept at a constant 12-15 degree celcius temperature. With them being inflatable, we can take them wherever we like and set them up, which is going to be ideal for the season ahead. I was just wondering what recovery strategies other people found best during pre-season.
