Reputation Bars?

Why has everyones rep bars suddenly shot up? Most have gone from one to 10 or 11!

Edit: Not me though :(

Further edit: now I suddenly have 8 bars!!! Odd.

Further, further edit: ah I see, Olly repped me and I went up 900 odd points. Cheers Ollly.

hate to be a **** and complain but this has taken a slight bit of the novelty out of rep....:(
 
It must be some kind of glitch and will revert to normal when they can sort it out. I'm finding it quite fun.

Clue no.1 - I work for something that is legally required.
