and yes before anyone asks - there is a World Cup for the XIII - a - side code next year....which may come as a surprise to some



anywho - i just watched the lebanon - ireland game which the irish tied in the last minute avoiding a repechage game apparently



apparently lebanon recently hammered wales





and the USA was beaten soundly...

I flicked between Ulster v Gloucester and Wales v Lebanon and thoroughly enjoyed the 13 man game. Lebanon played with an almost French like reckless abandon and ran in some wonderful scores. George Ndaira followed up a fantastic display against Ireland with a breath taking performance against Wales. Hopefully Lebanon can beat Samoa in a couple of days time. Lebanon qualifying for the World Cup could be a big plus for the host nation due to the large Lebanese community in Oz.
