I was thinking the same, the amount of rolling around on the ground post tackle, jacking on the floor certainly not things most refs allow, however he has demonstrated equally as odd tolerance on both sides so I guess it’s kind of ok.
Is Carley disagree with Poits scrum interpretation?
I do like how the ref has more sympathy for trapped players/no sympathy for 9s trying to buy penalties by pretending to trip over them etc

To be fair to Poite, he's consistently awful.
Honestly refs need to be paid more and held more accountable.
