Sound card issues

So the game is great but I can't hear any of the audio. A sound comes out of the speakers but it is really muddled and slow. I installed the game at my friend's house and it works perfectly. Any ideas? This is for PC.

doesn't help that you have a cracked version of the game, also doesn't help that you don't give any specs of what sound card etc u have

Not really sure what the specs on my sound card are. Any idea where I could find them?

Although it is a cracked version, the sound worked perfectly on my friend's computer so it isn't the game's problem, it's mine.

Yeah, the person I bought the game from suggested that. How do I download the latest drivers?
