Springboks vs Wallabies, 28 Aug 2010, Loftus Versfeld

hey don't point out where im wrong and the example about deans was just first one that poped into my head.

On the game i want Australia to win but if the Boks played like they did against the AB's im not sure they will i hope copper steps up to prove he can hold persure becues i think everbody has their douts. hopefully well see the same thing as last Saturday a good game of rugby and a lose for South Africa.

Yep it will be good to see Cooper (and Fourie) actually playing some rugby, and put all of this switch to league stuff aside for a while.

I think the Wallabies will try to play it at a fast pace. so the Boks will need to score their points early and hang on to their lead ... i'm pretty sure the Boks will dominate in the Forwards and set pieces ... just can't see them losing two weeks in a row at altitude.

if the wallabies are fit and play fast paced they could snatch it in the 10-20 mins i think boks just dropped on their feat against the all blacks. they did it in 3 mins i don't think that the wallabies could though.

BTW love your sig

Too true, the Wallabies will have to be careful with infringements at the breakdown, not getting penalised at scrum time etc ... F.Steyn can kick goals from just about anywhere ...

My sig? ... The part about All Black conspiracy/ being deep undercover ... well I've seen all of the RWCs, and we've lost just about all of them - this time we are trying to cover for all eventualities ... no matter how remote ;)

The weather is fine in beautiful Pretoria (as usual) for the big game. Who said Wallabies and Springbok clashes arent that good? Nonsense. Its gonna be a cracker of a Mandela cup clash and premium Rugby on display tri-nations style. The thing I like about this game is it will answer a few questions i.e can the Wallabies repeat their rather convincing win against the 'boks? etc etc..good to see the Wallabies with Cooper back in the side, good to see Frans back in the 'boks. Last weeks game was pulsating this weeks should be no different. The only thing I dont like about these 2 teams is that they dont have no haka, just an emotional singing of the anthem and then straight into beast mode. Plant yourself into your man-of-the-house couch, get your poison, get your teddy bear???(theres some strange people here on TRF) and enjoy the ruggas with the good players in it!!!!

Yes but will we play like last week ? We seem to physic us up more for the ABS. I dont know , my heart says Boks but my mind says Aussies.
I think you will. Though you bring up a good point about the Boks playing well against the ABs.

IF anything though, it will be close.
Actually I'm not taking it seriously at all.

Look back a couple of posts, my initial challenge was polite. I asked if you knew him personally as I wanted to asses whether your publicly stated opinion was based on any fact.

You then came back with the sarcasm. How did you expect me to respond?
Well the way you were going about (and responses to me - wording etc) seemed that you were.

But hey, that's how I perceived it - which is funnily what this whole tiff was about.
These tri-nations treads are doing my head i can't be bother to read them because every second post is some guy string **** up then that takes up like five pages all about nothing. Then finally theirs a post about the game then somebody else comes along and tries to stir **** up. in the end there are about five pages relating to the game and 30 about nothing i though the point of the form was to share your ideas about rugby and in this the game not have heated arguments about what Robie deans job description was.

rant over
Lol sorry mate.

I just never like it when someone is so vehement on the internet, especially when I was (lightly) just making a statement (if I'm wrong, I've got no issues with that - but I should still be allowed to say it within reason i.e. no death threats etc :p).

If it's any consolation, at least it's about a coach that's related to the topic.

Cooper's a wildcard here.

I mean we haven't seen him play this 3N, so it should be interesting seeing him play.

Yep - definitely have to keep Frans in mind.

I mean Frans and Morne (as well as the AB penalties) were the main reason for them losing.

IM UP IN HERE BROTHERS!!!!!!...just finished a night out on the town feeling drunk watchin the game...brothers Wallabies and Springboks, where have they been?????...mean game.
