3 locks lost in 3 days as well as our up-and-commers Kleyn and Botha previously injured and still unavailable. So the curse has struck us in the locks this time round. Luckily we still have Elstadt and Rhodes but both are flanker/locks. Pity JD Shickerling is also still out with that neck injury picked up against the junior Bulls. We are literally down to 6/7th choice here but I'll back Elstadt and Rhodes TBH.. just can't afford any more injures..
I find it strange that Grobler is the one found to have used steroids; he is the thinnest of the lot... okay, nevermind, I just got it. I am now wondering if the staff were aware of this. It does raise questions..
Now that I mention staff. Eddie Jones has been rumored to be linked with the Stormers coaching role now that Coetzee has been all but confirmed to be linking up with the Steelers in Japan after the SR season. That with Smal already here and Jake White having asked to coach earlier completes the 2007 Bok coaching staff setup.
