Good night, I am Brazilian and I practice rugby for a year, usually set in the centre position, but I have questions regarding the ideal location for my measurements. I'm 1.69 meters and weight 69Kg. Could you suggestions positions for me ? Sorry my bad English.

If you are with a well developed rugby lot, you will probably end up as scrum half or possibly wing or fullback. Kyle Eastmond is a similar height and is a centre but that's a rarity. If your passing and kicking is good, you will best go for scrumhalf, if you are a better runner and catching high ball then wing of fullback.

Somewhere in the backs, but if you want to be forward you'll have to gain a extra 30-40kgs.

As the others have said, it depends on your skills. If you're good at passing and you do a lot of running around; scrum-half is the way to go. If you're fast, but you're skills are on the low side, then you should go on the wing. If you can kick and catch well, then you should play full-back.

Realistically, it isn't exactly smart for you to play centre (if you're at a senior level, or even U-18 or U-16)

1,69 meters and 69 kg? Well you must be an excellent waterboy

It's just a joke ;)

I think you should play at winger. Are you fast or slow? If you're slow you should play at scrumhalf but you must train and improve your pass

very thanks!! could speak some players with similar height my?

There aren't many players who are below 170 cm at international level. Here are some that are close:

Kyle Eastmond 167 cm - 79 kg
Nic White 173 cm - 82 kg
Will Genia 174 cm - 85 kg
Danny Care 174 cm - 85 kg
Semesa Rokoduguni 174 cm - 94 kg

very thanks! is there any area in this forum to talk about specific training for each position?

Scrum half or winger.

Definitely not a lock haha

I'm 1,75 and 80kg. I play as an openside flanker...I retrieve many balls and make a lot of tackles (I have judo, brazilian jiu jitsu and wrestling background) per game...But man, it hurts a lot because of my light weight. I'll add when season finishes 5kg more with an estrict training regime. I have a light bone structure but I know I can do it.
