Here is my attempt to update the TRF24 mod to 2025.
I have updated all the rosters and tested for any crashes.
I have not added any custom faces, just reassigned the original graphics (as close as I could) (for an easier transfer through to the PS2 mod I am working on)
All credit for the graphics included goes to Jim546. I have just reassigned them to match and made a few generic backgrounds.
Feel free to mod this as you see fit.

Extract the contents of the main folder to the folder where the .exe is located.

Yo ama1. Hope you are well. Dont know if you saw my latest post dont look like i tagged you. I was playing World L and i chose Moana Pasifika i had no problems i finished all my games in Division 3. Ive got 4 games left in division 2. But i cannot play further when i go through to play it loads and just before the bar gets fully loaded it kicks me out completely. And the team i am facing is Bristol bears. Any advice maybe please? What the cause for that could be.

I found the problem. I saw @dejani post and i had the same player on that photos he added (L.Filipo.) I just traded him and it went through. Any advice for this maybe?

Hi guys, sorry to bring this up, game is crashing while loading game in World league. Game is Scarlets vs Benetton, I already shuffled all home/away jerseys combos (I solved an issue like this in the past) and reinstalled game, but it does not solve. I attach players traded, can you please check if there is any issue?

I downloaded the latest TRF 2025 Mod and everything works perfectly until I have to face either Moana Pasifika or Toulon at home. Could it be that the stadium files are missing or another problem perhaps. Thanks in Advance.

Go check @dejani post that photos he added. I bought a player (L.Filipo) and that name was also on that photos. I traded him and my game went through. Maybe check if you have any of those players.

I replaced Losi Filipo with Tuna Tuitama in the Moana Pasifika Team and edited the world league .rsg file (07590....rsg). I changed
Moana Pasifika's home ground to Eden Park for World League and Toulon's to the same as Toulouse in order to get around the problem. I am thinking that
because I used Suva as Moana's original home ground and I think I used Stade Francais for Toulon - they do not have World League stadium graphics in the original game, because those stadiums are only used in international mode. If you already have the TRF25 Mod installed, just download this one and drop it into the Main folder to replace the .rsg and .rdf files.

I have reuploaded the original TRF25 Mod to include the updated files.

Yo @ama1. i started a worldL with moana again. Im at division 3 week 3, next match against waratahs. Everything played smoothly. Until i bought a few players. J.TARRIT. N.SCHONERT N.ABULADZE J.WALTON D.DUPREEZ M.TAULEIGNE T.HALAIFONUA R.TAOFIFENUA. After i bought these players when i go to play the game it justs kicks me out the game completely again. what can it be now? And i have added that one you sended to the main folder. Any advice?

Might need to go to the options menu and reset roster to defaults and unfortunately will have to delete your previous WL save. I totally got rid of L.Filipo and renamed him DO NOT USE, so
he should not be showing.
I learned that players with no assigned nationality were causing crashes on the PS2 version. I have updated the .rdf file in the hope it can prevent further crashes such as this. (Original Link)

Hi @ama1 & @jim546. I can't thank you guys enough! This mod is amazing. I had the 21mod a few years back and then got distracted by life but I have been loving every minute of the new mod.

(I wish Argentina joined TRC earlier. Would have been amazing to play the full tournament.)

What I have been able to do so far is,
- Reconstruct the world league. (starting teams and rankings, also made sure all the teams and locations match the attached sheet) and it works perfectly!
- Updated the rugby WC23
- Reconstruct the Tri Nations and an edition of the Six Nations for one set of the fixtures, random and 24 still has original teams which is perfect for me!
- Removed the Ten Nations file as advised and then that worked perfectly!
- Added the Lions Tour all 3 works perfectly in both "Full" and "No Warm Up" versions.


The next thing I would like to try and do is use the "Full" Lions Tour files to create outgoing tours for each of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina. (VS France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Italy) And the use the "No Warm Up" files to create incoming tours for each France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales And Italy (VS Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina)
The game accepts all the fixtures and it looks freakin cool Butttttt...... the game only accepts The Lions as a playable option( starting line up screen etc).
I read that if you win Elite League you unlock home teams in The Lions Tour. So I am thinking that if I did that I would be able to choose either team in my fixture list. I just won't be able to change my starting line up.

So my question is, is there a file that can be altered to solve this issue? It is honestly not a big deal if it is not possible but it would be really amazing if I could get it to work.

The teams used in World League are in file 07590d14b68496aaf5406caf9ddf8e7b.rsg . Open this with a text editor, scroll down to the <teams> section. The teams in id 32 to 43 will be the starting teams you can select for Division 3 (ignore the alias names):



Find the indexes of the teams in file be2970b0ada8e42cf891ce60ffe69575.xml, you can also open this in a text editor. The Ospreys are index 95:



In this example, the last team in Div 3 is index 31, which is Western Force. So to replace the Force with the Ospreys, in 075...b.rsg change team 43's index from 31 to 95 and save the file.

All the files are in the trf25 mod folder. Lions tours and 10 nations comps can be copied from trf24 mod folder.
