Taione Vea retires due to spine injury

Pretty sad about this. He was really starting to become a key player. Very good TH prop.

Taken out by a cheap shot from behind during the Sale game.

Absolutly gutted for the lad, who was just coming into some form and was looking fit , I was just saying last week at the Grenoble game that things were looking up and that we still had players to return from injury. I wouldnt go as far as saying it was a cheap shot but it was definitely a late no arms tackle from behind. we all witnessed it in the stadium but im amazed the ref didnt have a look at it, or that the player was cited later on in the week.
