Yes, it's the England squad. The reason for the photo is because this is the first ever squad made entirely of Premiership players.

8 of the 12 teams represented as well. It's an important this marketing wise especially if England do well in the tournament, the AP starts mid-way through (QF weekend). It might get more people taking an active interest in it. To be able to say all of the England players take part in the AP and you can watch them week in and week out is pretty important for brand awareness.

Most people won't be aware of the Armitage/Abendenon nonsense, honestly if England get to where they should in the tournament (semi-finals) I think it more than justifies the selection policy.

Took me a few moments to work out who the Leicester players were! A far cry from the traditional strip.

LI, Sale, Newcastle and Wuss not represented.

Would look very different if done by academy... obviously you want to gather the best together, but there'd be a lot more northern shirts and representation from Saints and Bath would plummet.
