The Perfect Backline!

He is untouchable as the greatest ever fullback
[/b]

especially as he smoked 60 a day apparently. Would still pick Cullen ahead of him though in terms of timeless legendary full backs.

my perfect backline is :
9.Philips (wales)
10.O'Gara (Ireland)
11.S.Williams (Wales)
12.L.Mcalister (N.Z)
13.S.Mortlock (Aus)
14.V.Clerc (France)
15.J.M.Hernandez (Argentina)

Wouldn't win much with that lot.

Cullen was a great attacking fullback but what did he achieve at the world cup on the biggest stage of all. Also Blanco was consistently brilliant for a much longer period.

My perfect back line:
9) Shane Williams
10) Shane Williams
11) Brian Habana
12) Shane Williams
13) Shane Williams
14) Shane Williams
15) Shane Williams

You fool!
You picked Bryan Habana for the left wing?!

I know who i would have put there. I can't remember his name, but i've heard him being mentioned a lot just recently... ;)

He only played in one World Cup, and was shunted out of position. If he had gotten a chance to play fullback he would've shone in that backline.

It wouldn't have to worry because they'd just wait until Spencer lost his head and made the crucial error that costs them the game.

Not with CauCau - Spencer and CauCau were unstoppable whenever CauCau wasn't too fat and getting injured every 3 games in 2003/04
