Bit of fun/competitiveness during the quiet period

Geoguessr is a Google Street View based game. It shows a random part of street view and just by using that screen you have to guess where in the world it is and you get point based on how near or far you really are.

Ive set up the challenge at http://url.geoguessr.com/3wbt you have 10 minutes to complete and just post a screenshot of your score at the end. Winner gets teh internetz.

It doesn't work the other way, saw French, put France and turns out it was Belgium.

Without realising I could move around on my first go I got 7904 by using road markings, buildings, vehicles etc... as clues. I'm an idiot!

16410 due to two epic guesses! Got one within a Km the other big scorer was guessing the country and getting fairly lucky with the placement.

Defeated by your own genius. If the world was logical, we would be its rulers. The belgeish(I know) just need to get their bloody language, though, - its disgraceful. And New Zealand needs to get its own climate, and quit with his 'temperate' shilly-shallying - ********. Also, if I see mountains with snow on it, I don't want to have to think 'oh, but it might be New Zealand'

15612, i think I may have cheated though as I would find the nearest road sign and then google where it was.

One which I though was Turkey ended up being Russia, I saw some odd looking writing and deiced it was the middle east but it looked so European, ****ed that one up though.

Did kinda of that for the first one, though I'd already guessed it was Canada. Haha the Russian one felt kinda Russian from the get go, and then the big ass Russian flag I found on a building was a bit of a give away...
