Tony Smith of Leeds

I think we'd have been better off with a British person who has played for GB and knows what it's like to beat another country and knows how the fans feel. When we had David Waite it seemed like he didn't really care.

one would think that there would be a choice of qualified, competent British coaches to choose from who would be jumping at the chance to go full-time with this role - then again maybe Smith has what it takes to lead and motivate the GB players we shall see, he doesn't seem like your typical blood and thunder coach but maybe his approach will work better in the end
