Well from inside the camp I barely know. That is how water tight it is. The other ones are coach cuts. Think there has been a bit of a falling out. Hoping it is repaired as he is a key player to our future. What's triggered this? I'd have him in Dublin in a heartbeat tbh.
I think Doak is closer to Irish shirt than we think and Devine will fancy his chances too. ANd you need 2 good players in each spot.Think Gleeson, Hodnett and Butler would all be bad losses for Munster.
Devine makes even less sense now that Doak has signed an extension but Lancaster doesn't seem to be a massive fan.
if Coughlan and Patterson are cut, who will play scrumhalf? Only Casey and O'Riordan will be left.Well from inside the camp I barely know. That is how water tight it is. The others are looking like coach cuts. Kleyn, Abrahams, Niall Scannell, John Ryan, Andrew Smith, JJ Hanrahan, Ethan Coughlan and Mark Donnelly are the others on the chopping block. Mike Haley and Jack O'Donoghue will be safe I think from what I gathered in the bit of informative side I gathered today.
A nice European start to the week.

From what I gather there is going to be a big upheaval here, Connacht and even Leinster seem to be restructuring the whole lot.
I never said there was no incomings and not all definitive leaversif Coughlan and Patterson are cut, who will play scrumhalf? Only Casey and O'Riordan will be left.
Same goes for JJ and Butler. Crowley and Tom Wood at 10?
??? For Ulster. And the upheaval I meant was more at squad overall. Not just 9.at scrumhalf?
JGP sticks around, Luke retires, Foley is cut, Gunne becomes primary backup and Coffey moves to senior squad?
Hodnett is a class player. Definitely a big loss if he goes IMO.Think Gleeson, Hodnett and Butler would all be bad losses for Munster.

Abrahams seems like an odd one. He has a spark of creativity which Munster need.Well from inside the camp I barely know. That is how water tight it is. The other ones are coach cuts. Think there has been a bit of a falling out. Hoping it is repaired as he is a key player to our future.

I'd consider Hodnett the more key lad to keep. Thakir a good player but with limits on NIQ it isn't key for usAbrahams seems like an odd one. He has a spark of creativity which Munster need.
Just needs to be given space.
Could be Gleeson, could be Hodnett. Could be both but in all my time here in Munster, today goes as 1 of stranger daysHave heard separately today that a Munster 7 is going to Connacht.

Lomax isn't coming. Was never in the conversation and just signed a new deal or will be announced soon I believe. Also reported here. Don’t know the publication but Scully I would imagine is reasonably informed.

Transfer Rumours: Irish Prop on the Move?
New year, new me? Well, change could be on the horizon in Ireland. This isn’t some bombshell news about Andy Farrell or Jacques Nienebar, but rather t... | All Things Rugbyallthingsrugby.com
If Brian Gleeson was let leave the building heads should roll at the very top (and I don’t mean the coaching staff). I would be disgusted to let Hodnett leave as well, he is quite important for us. Can understand how Abrahams would be let walk, but out and out speed is something we really lack and we will not easily produce.
Aungier would be a welcome signing although there’s an injury profile there. VdM would be an excellent signing but I’m sorry we don’t need Dillane, who is another 6.5 player who is a squad player for LAR now. Him being from here isn’t a good reason to sign him.
Lomax is floated as an NIQ prop signing but I think that’s purely wishful thinking and the George Dyer lad would be more likely.
I would also consider us cutting Tony Butler odd. He has looked decent for me compared to JJ but doesn’t seem to be trusted. Wonder if Jake Flannery would come back if Carberry goes north.
Think Lomax just signed a new deal to end of 2026, so he may well do a sabbatical somewhere, although as you say... Not here. Dyer seems like he might be a decent sort to get in.Lomax isn't coming. Was never in the conversation and just signed a new deal or will be announced soon I believe.
