Transfers Rumours

In Leisters defense they could loose up to 7/8 backs to world cup and can't really depend on inexperienced players for 9/10 weeks

I could see us losing up to 10:

Reddan, Boss, Sexton, Dorce, Drico, Lukey F, Shaggy, Robnoxious, Fergus, and Shaggy will all we in with a shout of making the plane.

Have ye 2 Shaggys Feic but hard to see Horgan.
The backs I expect Kidney to pick:
Earls Bowe BOD ROG Sexton P. Wallace Trimble Reddan TOL Stringer Kearney Trimble Then last spot I think may be between McFadden and G. Murphy (if fit).

Bloody hell you really have come round to him as a player if you think Kidney's going to clone him and take two Andy Trimbles.

Second one would make a handy back-rower actually.

Rumours now in Limerick that Richard Kahui is on Munster's radar.
A good solid player who isn't guranteed a World Cup spot but I am conscious that he can be injury prone and C. Cullen comes to mind.

Smith is the top target but i think a few minor hiccups are there at moment and attentions have been switched to possible alternatives. I just hope there no panic and well let's just get a player without the panic of trying to rush a signing just to announce we've got a name

Benson Stanley to Connacht?

After hearing that Jamie Helleur has quit playing for Samoa in the RWC after signing for Newcastle, does anybody know whether Tasesa Lavea, Kahn Fotuali'i and George Pisi are also not going to play for Samoa in the RWC after signing for European teams

No idea why Helleur has decided to quit international rugby (he would have been lucky to make the Samoan squad in any case), but I'd be very surprised if Lavea, Fotuali'i and Pisi quit playing for Samoa - they only recently declared their eligibility for Samoa, specifically so they could play in the RWC! These days if NZ-based players decide to commit to playing for Samoa they invariable sign for European clubs.

Not going to lie but where has Jamie Helleur said he's retiring from international rugby?

Haven't seen a direct quote from the player himself stating he is quitting, but The Journal (whoever they are...) suggest he is about to quit international rugby with immediate effect (whether this is true or not I don't know...)...
