Transitioning Players and Development

I'm relatively new to coaching and have been set with a challenging, but very rewarding role of player development and transitioning of players from youth to senior rugby and second XV to first XV. As well as my current role as skills coach of the first XV I'm very much looking forward to this challenge and would welcome any advice or strategies from anyone involved in a similar role at their club.
