TRF World XV... who's in?

<div class='quotemain'>
<div class='quotemain'>So I honestly can't understand what you are saying, doesn't make sense.

Thats not my problem mate, give it another go.

My problem? Hah, you are the one trying to express your views aren't you? Your missing the point completely of what I'm trying to say, you might want to "give it another go".

Doesn't every player have their flaws? I mean you say no hookers today compare to Wood, Fitzpatrick, Kearns and Thompson (you serious?). Yes that is true mate, but what I'm saying is that applies to alot of positions these days. eg- Cullen, Blanco at 15, Lomu, Wilson at wing, are all better than players going around in those positions nowadays.

So why bag Mealamu? I'm not gonna say Latham is ***** just because there was a guy called Cullen who was so much better than he was.
its your problem because you seem to be the only one who doesn't understand.

Well, this is my squad. Really hard to decide between so many good players, but this does it for me:

1. Petru Balan
2. Marius Tincu
3. Carl Hayman
4. Victor Matfield
5. Daniel Vickerman
6. Schalk Burger
7. Ritchie McCaw
8. Sebastien Chabal
9. Augustin Pichot
10. Daniel Carter
11. Bryan Habana
12. Luke McAlister
13. Brian O'Driscoll
14. Lote Tuqiri
15. Juan Martin Hernandez

16. Os du Randt
17. John Smit
18. Bakkies Botha
19. Jerry Collins
20. Peter Stringer
21. Gordon D'Arcy
22. Francois Steyn

I know i can't really criticise because i haven't added my own list but i will anyway. How could you have Tuqiri in your team let alone your starting lineup? That guy is crap as far as im concerned. Oh well, everyone is entitled to their own oppinion.

Idiot. You are missing my point completely. I'm saying where is the sense in bagging a player simply because their was a player back in the day who was better? That is pretty much what "the truth" was saying.

I understand perfectly well what you mean, it's just that its a load of crap. Hence me not understanding how one can judge a player simply be that.

I like the idea of a team with only one player from each country. Have to take a few liberties but can still get a decent team out.

1. Petro Balan - Romania
2. Raphael Ibanez - France
3. Kees Lensing - Namibia
4. Paul O'Connel - Ireland
5. Mike James - Canada
6. Jason White (or Simon Taylor) - Scotland
7. Richie McCaw - New Zealand
8. Sergio Parisse - Italy

9. Dwayne Peel - Wales

11. Alessana Tuilagi - Samoa
12. Jean De Villiers - South Africa
13. Stirling Mortlock - Australia
14. Kameli Ratuvou - Fiji
i explained it in a previous post no one else seems to have a problem with it. there just isn't a hooker you could pick without the guy having limitations and that wasn't the case in the time of fitzy etc.(obiviously thompson was a terribble example).

Alright, I agree. But to some extent this applies to more than one position, that is what I'm saying. This thread is on a world xv, meaning the best players in the world today, not the in the time of fitzy.
