USA Rugby - Home on the Range

i'll be attending the USA v Ireland match this sunday,
and i'm looking to launch a movement to have "Home on the Range" sung in the stands.

i might even print small flyers for those who think they know the words but actually don't.

"Home on the Range" is a fantastic traditional American song,
and has many great vowels to be belted at top volume.

so, any Americans attending USA Rugby Tests this summer/the future,
or if you come from a proud rugby tradition of singing and are at a match when the Eagles are playing
(be it XVs or Sevens)
clear your throats, hoist your drinks up high and let loose.

here are my proposed words.
a mix Higley's original (1876), Lomax's update (1910)
and me drunkenly shouting "Eagles!" in a couple places - feel free to join.

thanks in advance. i'd love for this to take root.

Oh, give me a home
Where the buffalo roam
and the dear and the antelope play (EAGLES!)
Where seldom is heard
a discouraging word
and the sky is not cloudy all day

HOME! Home on the Range!
Where the dear and the antelope play (EAGLES!)
Where seldom is heard
a discouraging word
and the sky is not cloudy all day

well thank you kindly.
the crowd at usa v ireland was 10,075 - and were in a fantastic mood. match left much to be desired.
there was some singing, so give it a go!

incidentally, when you get to the deer and antelope line,
make sure to sing "deer" and not "dear" as is written above.
entirely changes the meaning when you sing about where expensive things and the antelope play.

Richard Pa-Paglia, being of sound mind and body, does hereby shove a carrot up his nose in the name of God, King, and Country.

Our team's national song should be "America, **** Yeah!" :bravo:

Maybe it can be played when we win a Churchill Cup game.

i tried to sing it but had one to many to even remember the words and everyone around me were looking at me like wtf is he doing lol
