I remember liking the Stereophonics. Haven't listened to them... or remembered they exist... in like forever though. So maybe I don't like them that much. Local Boy in the Photograph was a good song though.

Anyway, I'm currently obsessively listening to this. Rats might like it.

I may be getting old but tried the new Metallica album, hated it. Just noise to me now. As far as Metallica goes I'll stick the the classic, more melodic style metal rather than the thrash, mayhem style of it.

I meant that I prefer songs like Nothing Else Matters to ones like Fuel, ones like The Unforgiven trilogy to Battery etc etc

"Battery" is their classic sound, stuff like Fuel, The Unforgiven and NEM are the departures from that.
